    Soggy is an understatement. Lots of flooded corn fields. Harvest will definitely be delayed a few weeks.

    Aberdeen or Watertown?

    I live in Aberdeen and have very few complaints. Its a good town with good people. Only complaint is good fishing is not that close. Sometimes I get lucky on Richmond or Mina or the Jim River but its not consistent.

    yup, A lot of states actually pay better than the USFWS especially after COVID. Entry level can be a rough couple years but if you can hold out for a few years they top out at the GS-11 level.

    Grassland easements do delay haying on private land until after 7/15 or 8/1 depending on the easement. So its not all private hay ground but alot gets its first cutting around 6/1 of every year.
