Block Management It seems to me that the more Montana BMA areas I have hunted the guiding rule is the better the dog, the better the BMA!

Malta area! Yes there are prairie dogs around Malta; huge towns in fact but not a great time of year for shooting. There are also good numbers of sharpies and huns within thirty minutes of town. Check with the pros who congregate at the Riverside Motel, you'll hear about productive areas to hunt.

hooray for birddogs Dogs always make the hunt interesting. Heading out for region 6 myself this friday. Have allowed 2 weeks for scouting, hunting and enjoying the famous montana hospitality. Will post my results.
