Why can’t I Gun Break my Dog

Another question for you. If she easily finds pigeons in brush that I hid, will she be able to smell a pheasant and make the connection or will she need additional training?

Why can’t I Gun Break my Dog

Often when she trails along with me on rabbit and pigeon hunts she begins to run the opposite direction when the shooting begins. I’ve never shot while she had a bird on point.

Why can’t I Gun Break my Dog

She’s always never like it. I have taken her along on hunts for barn pigeons that she was no part of I just took her along to get her in the outdoors.

Why can’t I Gun Break my Dog

She has been a partner on hunting trips and shooting range trips for the last year. She’s heard guns for a quite a long time. I can’t get her to even except a 22 at ease. She’s been around guns long before I entered this forums. I understand what you were asking though.

    Anyone familiar with Vizslas?

That’s awesome! So you wouldn’t steer me away from making her a bird dog.

    Anyone familiar with Vizslas?

I owns a 2 year old female Vizsla. She’s an excellent loving dog. Other than being a little tired sometimes she’s a good outdoors dog. She is trained to find and retrieve deer antlers. Having the incredible nose that she does, I would love to put it to work on pheasants. She has a very high...
