Any word on birds in the Britton area?

Was planning to travel to Britton area to hunt w/ friend and our two boys (good hunters with all safety training) over their Thankgiving vacation from school. Concerned as i didn't realize it was during deer season 27th-5th - dangerous time to have boys in the field with that much action, also...
