Went out through Byron Walker area today with a friend. WOW did I forget just how hard bird hunting is without a damn dog; must have walked 10 damn miles of fields. We actually popped a 20-30 covey within 10 minutes of one decent spot but they flew toward the damn highway so no shots were taken...

Antlerless extended season starts Jan 1-9, firearms. Archery from 10th to the 31st. (Im to to damn old for that) areas 7,8 and 15 for firearms antlerless from jan 10-16th.
