I love the Walk in map, If you aren't to worried about driving a little bit you can find some good places. I think it is fun to just follow the map a see a litle country. And with some persistence you can usually have some luck. At least I have, hunting in small groups.

Well it must be just me. I do usually hunt in small groups of 1 or 2. Maybe that has something to do with it.

The dog was really birdy all day and not alot flew? maybe late season? Or maybe hens are running. Not normal from my experience.

I have been hunting since I could walk and I always remember seeing more hens then roosters. This year It seems like the hen numbers are down. That has me worried about next year. Hunted WIHA in Jewell Co today shot 3 roosters and only saw 3 hens. It seems like that has been the case all year.
