    Cutting down cattails

Get some certified wetland allowed Round up. Get you an ARGO with sprayer set up or backpack sprayer which is more work but it doesn't take much spray and when the cattails are first emerging spray your trail. Real easy that way.

    More Birds Than Last Year

I have more birds than last year as well. If birds are not recovered I figure the coyotes and other varmints even if they are microbes have to eat something and it is okay in my book. If others disagree in their pompous observations I believe they haven't experienced the realities of the hunt...

    Snakes

With the warm fall weather the prairie rattlers are still out so be careful. I was in Lyman County a few weeks ago and while standing in some tall grass next to the road while looking at some land that was for sale I noticed a movement and realized a prairie rattler was crawling over my...

    Rotary Cutter Sizing

The 25A flail mower cuts about a 6' 6" width. According to the John Deere web site the 3520 and the 25A are compatible. The 25A flail mower requires a minimum 30hp tractor. It works great behind my 3720 and of course the 4720 as well. As I said before it doesn't throw rocks and other debri...

    Rotary Cutter Sizing

It can cut down pretty close maybe not dirt but pretty darn close you have several settings. I don't remember the other flail mower number that John Deere has but it is a little heavier duty but I have used the 25A on my farms for the last six years and it has worked great. It cuts so well you...

the effect of trapping on sd pheasant numbers

You need to trap more and in all honesty should be required in your endeavors to trap year round for skunks, fox, coons and feral cats. You'll never get them all as their reproduction is incredible.
