    Actually, no I've never used my 28 on pheasants, although I've considered it. The only thing I've taken with it is clay birds on the skeet field, and missed a number of grouse and woodcock. I'd be delighted to learn of anybody's preferred 28ga loads for pheasant, as I'm an avid handloader.
