we have a pretty good rabbit population here in wv. Ive takin about 15 this year so and have hunted but a handful of times. dont have any birds though, i would trade birds for rabbits anyday.

young pointer as for honoring i work on that with pen raised birds in the training field. Also i dont always hunt them solo. I just start doing it once they have the basics down. So they are forced to sharpen their skills and I can give them more 1 on 1 time incase i have to correct any issues.

dogs I like usually hunting one at a time. I think a young dog learns most when out on their own and they have to do the work. If on a trip somewhere though i usually run 2 so they all get good exposure

stocking Is there any places in PA stocking program in the SW part of the state. Im bout 2 hr to pittsburg. Also is there any decent wood cock hunting in that part of the state. I may make a trip up that way if i can figure out where to go.
