With 1 1/8oz loads, I would stay with 5s to get adequate density. 191(5s)vs 152(4s) approximately. I'd think the 5s would be adequate to 50yrs on packing enough energy, but I'm not sure how much farther you plan to shoot.....I'm gonna say FULL so you can take your time and not feel like you...

I have a CZ Upland 20ga. It is not in the class of your guns but it does a fine job of making me look like a good shot. Those Dickinsons look like a fine piece of hardware.

2 3/4" 1oz 5 or 6.....the same load that I shot my 1st 5 gobblers with as a kid before I went to a 3" 12ga because I was told that a 2 3/4" 20 wouldn't kill a turkey. Kids are so gullible...........:D

Probably won't use it too much...my typical hunter is a 20ga SxS but I thought it was too good to pass up in case hunting someplace steel is required.

Just a heads up. I picked up a franchi instinct at Scheels yesterday for $700. It was in their weekly flyer that runs thru 10/8. Nice no frills hunter O/U if anyone is considering one.

I wear a long sleeve "heat 32" top(found them at Costco for $6), Tshirt, Sweat shirt, Windblocker jacket or another zip sweatshirt...all over the "wool sweater" baselayer that God give me that my wife hates......

How many years for this bird we got yesterday. I've shot turkeys with less....probably gonna need to tenderize.

Make sure the ports in the barrel are clean and install a new o ring. My 1100 has a sticker that shows the correct order of the piston rings so I'm guessing a google search would find something similar to make sure rings are correct. Shouldn't be anything too major as it is a fairly simple system.

M3500 (3 1/2" chamber) max4 28" barrel. Above average condition. Includes factory chokes-c,ic,m,f,extented XF, shims, scope base. Never had an issue with gun. Moving to try something else and only currently only shoot 1 of my spring turkeys with it since trading for my versamax, which I use...

This or something similar is going to be my upgrade also. Tired of having my bird n lite sewed on all the time. p.o.s. Currently have bottom of pockets duct taped on inside so don't loose shells. Had to have 1 pocket rebuilt last year because of it. I hope to also look at: 12ga sxs new...
