Hey gang, I've been out of state for awhile. Has the DNR put out the Rabbit, Quail, Pheasant, Hungarian Partridge distribution maps? I couldn't find them on their web site. Where do I look?

I try to buy pups March-June. I usually buy when my older dog is 8-9 years. I always have the pup along when doing summer field work with older dog during the summer months. Sometimes for less than 1/2 hour. I usually don't hunt my pup during opening weekend/week. Can be a little too crazy...

I hunted public/private ground in western Kossuth. In an area we harvested 24 birds for 8 hunters by noon last year, we shot one this year. 3 words A Bys Mal. We saw two roosters and two hens. @dave I will be in Kossuth west of Bancroft. The best thing you can do is get a Sportsman Atlas. There is quite of few Public spots around Bancroft. They will be burnt off quickly by other hunters opening weekend. If your BinL knows some people he might get you a stretch or two of private land...
