Thanks we got out with some help. Ya roads aren't that great there, so headed west for the rest of trip. At least today was a good day to hunt.

I will be headed out by Hutch with my son and his friend. His buddy has never shot a pheasant so hope the dogs do good and put him on one.

Ya my dog has pointed few while in early quail season, but ya he doesn't like to retrieve them at all. Fun bird to hunt if you can get into some. Always find them in same area every year.

Can u use lead shot on wiha. Goin south of hays and was seeing what was legal on the public hunting areas out there. Thanks

Some friends and I planned on goin out south of hays on Dec 5th and 6th. My ? Is how bad are the deer hunters since it will be opening weekend for ks rifle season? And does anyone have any suggestions on where to go. Thanks for any advice
