I have a bunch of #4 3" 20ga that should fit the bill. I am hoping they won't be to much for my son (11) I am having him shoot low brass 7 1/2 at the range and hoping in the excitement of the flush he won't notice the extra horse power of the 3" stuff.

Any recomendations for lodging in the Stockton/Phillipsburg area. I have a bunch of numbers but didn't want to waste time chasing bad places. I tried a few forum serches but did't turn up much. 1adult 1 kid two dogs. thanks

What do you guys recommend for 20ga. I too have heard good stuff about the Fiocchi, my dad has raved about them ever sense returning from ND this year.

My setter is 10 this year so she will be good for only short hunts. My gsp is seven and should be able to pound hard. I am more worried about the 15 extra pounds I am carrying.

Thanks for the info guys. I do not enjoy having large groups and have always prefered 3 or 4 people max. I am excited to see my boy get his first wild pheasant! Sounds like there are some quail in those areas too.
