    Munsterlander-Setter for sale

Yeah, actually he was an owner surrender along with the whole kennel to a shelter in MI. Einstein is the only one that passed our extensive temperament test to enter the prison training program. We are not sure if he is actually a pure SM or not so we thought it best to list him as a mix just...

    Looking for a Started Dog

If more rescues offered a field trial or testing of the dog, would it help to eliminate the crap shoot? We are seriously researching this option so any opinions on this topic would be great.

Really? How cool. I thought it was a lost "art" for the breed. Guess it was not so much of a joke then eh? Hope I did not offend anyone because that was not the intent. I am finding this forum to be very informative that is for sure. :) We encounter many breeds, so I should know better than to...

Interesting thought. Guess I need to research if guides will give a very steep discount to non-profits for an upland hunting trip? Believe me, when I tell you I have opened my home to many a bird dog and IMHO most have been great dogs. But in others opinions they may or may not be hunting...

Again thank you. You guys are all so nice. Who knew? LOL I am familiar with the shock collars as I use them on my own dogs when walking through the deep woods. The collars have stopped my dogs many a time from chasing a deer and then never to be seen again. The dogs love it when I get the...

I absolutely love that idea! The Munsterlander we sent out on hunt, here is what they said: I worked with Einstein for approx. 3 weeks. He was exercised every morning for about 30-45 minutes. I also hunted him on pheasants 6 or 7 times. These are some of my observations: He loves to run and...

    Lost dog NE Topeka area

Not sure if you have checked with your local dog rescues and if you have animal controls shelters you may want to check there too. That is if you have not already? There are allot of rescues that will take dogs in and consider them a "stray". You may want to keep an eye on Petfinder.com too.

Thank you. Can you guys tell me what FF or force fetch means? I am seeing it in alot of the posts I am reading on here. I am unsure what that means? I am thinking that it means you force the dog to fetch but there are diffrent ways of doing it? I seen some posts as simple as walking away from...
