We'll be heading to SD (Day Co.) over our Christmas break--teachers, so we're stuck with that time. Do both 5 day time slots have to be in the same calendar year, or can we have 5 days this year and carry over the next 5 next year?

I've had two Brittanys...each a female. Both times the breeders told me the same...No difference except for a female in heat...if she's spayed, no difference at all.

We do the same in Indiana, although the "hunts" are put on before the regular season with planted birds. I wish we would have a youth opener on public land with wild birds. Seems like it's harder and harder to get a full complement of kids to hunt.

Hope to be hunting Pratt/Edwards counties in December.

We are committed to hunt public land but are curious about a day hunt around the Pratt area. We figure if we pay maybe around 150.00 a gun to be assured of getting on some good property, then we can spend the last two days stumbling about walk in property. Any advice?
