Here in Pennsylvania hunting government birds lots of roosters have no tail. Few live long enough to grow their feathers out.

On my last hunt I missed 3 birds in under 5 minutes.

My dog was a little wild a few weeks ago and one day I couldn't hit anything. I switched from IC to modified choke. A bunch of shots were 30 yards and out, where modified choke shines. Now that my dog is holding point I may switch back.
