My buddy hunted there the last 5 days… said there was a significant line between Pierre and Mobridge. Very crunchy and loud made birds spooky according to him.

I have been told that when you are shooting a new Inertia gun, to run a box of heavy loads through it first, something to do with breaking in the spring. I have done that with both my Benelli’s and my Sweet 16 and had 0 issues.

Always hard for me to leave after the hunt. Super drowsy the first half the ride, wondering if you’re going to make it. Then somehow I hit my groove and it’s all good!

I have both the Meindel Ultra lights and the Hoka’s. They both work really good for me. I wear the Meindel’s in the morning for the heavy part of the walking day and if it’s dry and no snow, I wear the Hoka’s for the afternoon hunt. Super light and comfy
