    For Sale: Browning Upland Vest

I agree with you sir. I only used it a few times, but it always served me well. I got a strap vest soon after this one, and the strap vest suits me better for southern Appalachian grouse.

    For Sale: Browning Upland Vest

I agree...the vest should fit you just fine, and I think it would actually look good on you :D The color of the vest is properly displayed in the pictures. Im not real sure if that is classified as "light" or "dark". I probably used the vest 3 times, so it is not faded or worn as far as color goes.

    For Sale: Browning Upland Vest

I am 6 foot and 200 pounds. The vest is a large. I wear an xlarge shirt, but mostly because they shrink to how I like them after a few washes. This vest fits great for me even over a sweat shirt. I would say if your much smaller than me, it may be a little big Hope this helps

    For Sale: Browning Upland Vest

Would like to get $50 which includes my cost to ship it. I only used it a few times, before I decided a strap vest better suits me. It is a large. PM me with questions or offers. Would like to see it go to someone who can use it.

A few Pheasants from around the world

A little late getting to this (and I may have already posted it - I know I did on another board I frequent), but here is a few Francolin I killed in Zimbawe, Africa back in June of this year. Correct me if I am wrong, but I think they are in the pheasant family....

    Young setter playing rough...

Teach her an EASY command... I have taught all my dogs EASY. When they hear my give that command in a firm voice, they know to throttle it down a notch whether it is playing with each other, playing with me, taking treats from my hand, or getting close to a bird. I start by telling them EASY...

    Dove season has opened

I sure am glad you live South of me or I would probably never see a dove. You and that dog both are gonna turn into doves if you keep it up... good work!

    New Recruits

Good looking pups... When I went and got my pup at 12 weeks old, she had already had birds shot over her. Matter of fact, she went hunting and ran with the trainers other dogs that same morning.

    6 more days

Mine is ready as well. Last night I pulled into the farm and about a dozen doves flushed as I crossed the cattle guard. Grace just started shaking she was so anxious. We got out the truck and she thought for sure we were going hunting...broke her little heart when I started weed eating. Grace...

Type of feeder for pheasants and quails

That is some sweet looking terrain. Do you have Francolin or pheasants? I went to Zimbabwe on my honey moon and hunted Francolin a few months ago. Very neat experience

    Not the best dog work...

Great pictures and beautiful dogs! My wife is pushing me to get a Vizsla for our next When you have a quail flush in that scenario, what do your dogs do right now (since you can't shoot them)? Do you let them chase/catch it or are they steady to shot and just watch it flush and fly off?

2015 Ruffed Grouse Society Pennsylvania Forecast

I hope VA sees what PA is doing and takes some notes. Hopefully all goes well with the RGS lawsuit and some of the NF here gets logged as it should have been years ago. P.S. you PA guys save a few birds so when I get tired of not seeing anything I can come up just to be reminded what a grouse...
