Well guys i went out to get some roosters again with success!! only failure is i didn't bring my camera again! (woke up late had to rush out the door..i blame the turkey) but i did manage to get a picture off with my camera phone while Remmy was on point and thought i'd share it. I went both...

i have a poor mans overunder..Stoeger Condor comes with a 20ga barrel too. isn't the prettiest girl on the blog but she'll dance.

The only reason i miss is because i aim for the head....body shots on phesants are too easy :thumbsup::rolleyes: and when the dog gives me the wtf look i just tell him i didn't want to go home yet :-D

AHhh the good old WTF look from the dog...don't worry it happenes to the rest of us...I just tell people i didn't want to go home yet :-D

This is the first Bird Dog i've had but ill have to say Remmy is the best pointing dog i've hunted behind. He's a GSP 27 months, about 45-50 pounds he's on the smaller side for GSP's. He still needs some work on retrieving, but as far as finding birds, i've never hunted behind another pointer...

Agreed! i would feel weired being in the field with a pocket full of treats, not to mention if theres other dogs out there, especially labs from my experience that will beg and beg for treats. But the clicker is good for one thing i found, transitioning from the clicker to the e collar beeper...

i was in your same shoes about a year ago too! i went with the sportdog 400s model works great for me! and wasn't too bad on the pocket compared to alot of other ones on the market. It cost me 180 brand new at bass pro. its a little cheaper if you get it online. It has a continuous stimulus...

dogs still reliving the hunt so he's not hungry! lol try boiled chicken breast mixed in with his dog food and wait for the broth to cool the pour some over the food works for Remmy!

I made my dog his own food for about the first 6 months that i had him, i did notice his coat was a lot healthier and ate a lot more. But after a while it starts to eat you alive in the pocket! it started to cost me about 6 bucks a day to feed him, if you got the money i would say go for it, but...
