    Take a look at the Zeiss conquest I've had one on my 340 Weatherby since the year after they came out.     Anyone going out Friday

    Went out Friday, have to agree with W21. The hunting was as good as I've ever had. Three of us went and had our limits by 9:30. We literally had to kick a few of the birds up, most would hold to within five yards.....Van

    Passing it on, taking my son out

    Go slow and don't put too much pressure on him. My son is now 16 and is addicted to hunting and fishing. It makes the whole experience a blast for both of us now.

    anyone do good?

    We put a lot of roosters up but with the not so good shooting brought home only 2. That's the most hunters I've seen out in the last several years. The hunting should be a lot better when the corn is completely out and we get some more weather.

    Ammo debate

    The Kent fastlead has worked extremely well for my son and I but my Benelli seems to prefer the Federal PF loads. Not to many runners with 5's early in the season and 4's later.
