Check out the Vizsla. Good bird dogs. Healthy and sound. Mid-sized short-haired dogs. Great family dogs. A breed that still produces Dual-Champion dogs (Field Champions and Conformation Champions in the same package).

Over the last 50 years I have had labs, an Irish Setter, English Springers, German Shorthairs, and now Vizslas. Hunt upland birds - no waterfowl. They all have been good. I enjoy my Vizslas for a number of reasons. Health, attitude, hunting ability, and they are great with the family.

Win or lose, Tebow has made a fan out of me.

Redtails Hmmmm --- I have seen a Redtail Hawk dive and kill a roster pheasant. Pretty amazing. I'm wondering if their migration route has shifted. It seems as though I see more hawks in the fall than I did in the 70's and 80's. Anyone have any thoughts?
