I used to shoot a Stevens 555 28 ga. it had a lot of recoil compared to my Weatherby Orion SxS 28ga and Benelli Ultralight 28ga. I do shoot a .410 Stevens 555 Sporting and I love it!

I've only be getting single bird flushes in Laramie Co. while I've been getting covey flushes in Goshen Co. No luck yet in Platte Co.

Anyone ever seen Ruffles in the Wyoming part of the Unita foothills (SW corner of WY)?

Awesome! Ruffies are next on my list. Anyone know if there are Ruffies in the Bighorns, Sierra Madre, or Snowy ranges? Trying to save myself the drive to NW WY if i can.

SE Wyoming is fickle. My only advice is hunt the food source. Sharpies make a unique sound when flushing. Sharpies in SE WY = Miles (many of them). Enjoy the adventure. I haven't had luck in Laramie Co. but hear they are there. Enjoy the adventure. Winds at 15mph seem to work good.
