    Drahthaar experiences

I agree and everyone else is entitled to theirs. I am just sharing my experiences. For every bad experience there are just as many good ones I’m sure. Thus my comment about exceptions. I have seen some very very good Drahts in my time. I just can’t trust them, therefore they aren’t for me.

    Drahthaar experiences

Along with the other ones over the years that I have seen attack other dogs and handlers at the line? They are aggressive and bred for one job. Sounds like you haven’t been exposed to the broad population of Drahts

    Drahthaar experiences

My buddy has two and we cannot hunt his with mine or any other dogs. I'm sure there are exceptions just like any breed, but I would never own or recommend a Draht to anyone. I have seen too many other interactions in the field and at hunt tests. I sure as hell wouldn't have them around my kids.

gps- that is an e-collar. I like to use one on the belly strictly for "whoa" and steadiness. I do this to eliminate confusion since a stimulation on the neck could mean a multitude of different things. (Whoa, come, leave it, etc..) A dog's natural instinct when stimulated on the belly is to...
