We saw more Grouse than '17 and had a pretty good hunt couple weekends back (NWLP). Woodcock's numbers seemed up also, but definitely a better years for Grouse. Last year was pretty bad though, worst year in a while......

Anyone get out in the first week? I was supposed to be in NWLP tonight, but weather is just too warm to safely put dogs down right now. Pushed back our trip until mid-week after it cools down.

My Wife is the same way Hoppe's. Best thing I have found is Rem Oil in the spray bottle. Doesn't bother her, 6 yr old or the pets. Used CLP quite a bit in my IPSC days. More expensive, but I don't remember it being a strong smell..
