Bird numbers are strong in parts of Kansas this year. Kids got out early and did well. All hunting was with permission on private.

I went to NM last year for scaled in Feb and had a great 5 days. Daytime up to Mid 50s 2nd week of Feb, nighttime down in low 20s. KS is great for Bobs and NE with their abundant walk-in and forecast should be worth consideration.

I have both the Danner Pronghorn and Danner Sharptail in the kit and am starting the 3rd season with both. I would pick the Pronghorn over the Sharptail because it has held up better. Both are Gore-Tex lined, but neither are waterproof at this point. The Sharptail actually never kept me dry...
