    Bates County MO

So, I'm a resident of IA. Have the opportunity to move to the Bates county area for work. Never lived/hunted in Missouri. Thinking coyotes, deer, etc but how is the bird hunting? Oddly enough, my bird dogs enjoyment plays a role in my professional life. Gun laws,? Suppressors are...

    '13-'14 Season Ending Statistics

Man I'm glad I don't keep track of this stuff. When hunting becomes math..I'll watch football. And I'd take a quick kick to the junk before I'd watch football. :nutz:

Checking in -- a few solo hunts around Christmas

    A few for the table

Kismet love the pic. He's got that "not right" look in his eyes. :D Mines proven to be pretty resilient on the barbed wire so far but he's got some after market protection that has probably saved me some vet bills. The eyes and the feet have been what really take a beating. he of course...

    A few for the table

Actually drastically edited shortened version. That dog always, always bleeds when he hunts. The wounds you see were not the worst. He's laying on the couch barking in his sleep. Think he's fine!

    A few for the table

A couple friends stopped by this morning from out of town to do a bit of an impromptu rooster hunt. Without much forethought we headed out and hit some regular spots. Birds seem to be a little harder to come by which is of course expected but we managed to kill a few. Dog produced 4 roosters...
