Is the training for pheasant the same for both breeds? I am new to bird dogs and have a Springer but a friend that trains and breeds labs has offered to help me. I figure it would work but want to get the right training for him. Thanks

Anyone use the Victor brand dog food? I just got a 8 month old Springer and he came with some of the Victor professional food. The review seems good but wanted to hear some real results. Thanks

Very good points! The reason i hunt alone is most guys have pointers that i know and it's easy for me to run out after work and hunt, i mostly hunt five minutes from my house. I was worried about keeping track of two dogs, i mostly hunt switch grass till late season when i seem to find them...
