    Opening day reports?

All the birds were seen while walking the fields. Probably saw 70+ birds but not many in range other than hens. Walked a small corner and had 15-20 hens all get up together. We hunted all private between Akron and Yuma. The birds we did get all came up at once in a small treeline just south of Otis.

    Opening day reports?

We saw a lot of birds. Scratched out three. Only three guys and one dog. Hunted my first hemp field. Kicked around 30 birds out of that.

    Hug your dog

My sister put this slideshow together for me when Jack passed his final master test back in September. The music is Third Day's Consuming Fire, thus Jack's name. It is a chronicle of Jack's life up until that point https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xu0IYOVNumU&sns=fb

    Hug your dog

Life can change in a heartbeat. I was hunting with some new guys that I met through a friend. My dog was the only dog in the field on Sunday morning. As I whistled my dog back to me, a covey of quail exploded behind him. The guy to my right took a shot and my dog dropped. He didn't make it out...

ISO Information on LANKAS Labs out of Atwood Kansas

Go to the American Pointing Lab website. There is a link there for reputable breeders. I would be happy to help if you have any questions. I am fairly familiar with many of the popular breeders around the Rocky Mountain region and just east of here.
