burlington rotary club hunt
I only hunted around Burlington so I won't comment on other places. For $100 I am able to hunt over 72,000 acres of private land throughout the season, anytime I wish. :10sign: There is only one WIA area that I saw, didn't spend any time scouting it due to the fact that the private land looked... -

When, Where, and How did You Shoot Your First Pheasant?
It was last Saturday, Nov 13, we were NE of Burlington, CO in a group of 4 walking a CRP field. The Rooster went up behind me at about the 8 o'clock position. I spun around and got it on the first shot, about 30 yds.- Eneranch

So how was Opening day?
Had a Great Time on my first Pheasant Hunt. Where in Burlington all day, tons of birds, our group of 5 took at least 12 Birds; hunted CRP for the most part lost a few that went down, not happy about that but due diligence was done. -

Bad day
I had just the opposite happen yesterday. Our group of 5 was walking fence rows & Corners for the first 4 hours of the morning; having fair results flushing far more birds that we were taking. At about 10am we noticed a large group of hunters walking a 1/4 section; looked real organized & well... -
