    I tried a new area. My favorite spot was over runned by long weekend campers and hikers. My dog only had two points; one was old scent and the other was a couple of twitty birds. Good thing that the season is two months long. I will be out in a couple of weeks again.

    Old and new, here in NM. You can hunt them during the regular dove season. There is not a limit on them. But, the birds are a semi rural bird and don't migrate as do Mourning Doves. These birds can take a hit well. BTW, has anyone seen anything mentioned in the NM proclamation on hunting...

    It looks like El Ni?o is shaping up for us. From hear say, it is said that it is going to be a good one. We all need a good change and get some good moisture to the state.
