The sire is a big, strong dog, he weighs 45 lbs in hunting shape. His full brother was a few pounds less. The dam is 33 lbs. In KS we hunt tall, thick grass for pheasant day after day plus we hunt a month in MT and we like how the bigger dogs hold up.
