Got the pup acclimated to snow birds this week. Heading to CO next week to try our luck. It is going to be COLD.

No problem:) and thank you. He is coming up on 6 months in the next couple of weeks. He was about 5 months in that pic. We are back in IA trying to bag some more roosters tomorrow before heading to CO and SW KS to finish the season off.

Had to make a trip out of state to get the new pup some experience on pheasant. Will try the South West part of KS a little later this month and report back.

Didn't see a bird in NC/NE KS this weekend and dodged loads of deer hunters...did you have any luck?

Quail in SE is best it has been for a number of years. Not having any luck finding pheasants in North Central KS.:mad:
