I tried to google Pheasant hunting in Va. and it comes up with a lot of hunting preserve sites. But they're blocked to me here at work. It's really your only option here in Va. Plus, a preserve bird might be easier to hit with a flu-flu.

My personal preference is "no dew claws" for field dogs. Again, that's just me. I know they're usually removed at 2 or 3 days old, I don't know how big of a deal it is to remove them at 8 or 9 weeks. I just don't want to deal with an injured dew claw in the field. I'm kind of surprised a breeder...

I got the same PM. From Eternity ( 0 posts ) with a message that said something like "Hi I'm new here." It also included a link that looked sketchy to me so I just deleted it. So, I have no idea what it was about, but it didn't pass my smell test.

Meridy's, that must be the place we ate at one night. The guy we rented a house from told us we had to eat there one night. I hope I remember this right, seems they offered two sizes of steak, a 22oz. or 33oz. They must of been 3 inches thick. Probably nothing to you guys that live out there...

Hi everybody, I too am from the land of no more (or at least hard to come by) grouse. I get my local fix for pheasants in lower PA. They're release birds but better than nothing. My buds and I come out west each year. We do our research and then guide ourselves. So far, we've hunted in KS, ND...
