I doubt any game farm has birds left. I know most breeders are just hatching chicks now. If you need birds reasonably soon, well if i'm not mistaken i think quail start to become available sometime in mid may? I would start looking in that direction.

I use the FFLIGHT map that the DNR has for a lot of bird hunting down here. Has anyone used it for grouse up north? That would be my suggestion, anyone have any experience using it?

Had a friend hunting the Park falls area this past weekend as well. He only moved two woodcock the first day. Limited out on day 2 with grouse and 2 more grouse on sunday. Didn't see anymore woodcock though. He was on private land that I don't think has been bird hunted in many years.

I was away for training this past weekend for the military. I missed the opener unfortunately. However if anyone would like to share some dog/birds pics I would love to see them!! I hope to have time later this week to make it out and hopefully find a bird or two. Hope everyone limited out this...

If any1 wants to come my way and attempt to find wild birds there's a few wpa that ik have wild birds it's just a matter of how many miles you want to walk to see one lol
