16 gauge what a Pheasant round

I have been thinking about adding a 16 gauge to the arsenal for some time. Have not been able to find anything local that I can put my hands on. Have found a Citori Lightning and a Citori Heritage online. Anybody knowledgable enough with the two guns to give me any details on th differences...

    beretta 400xplor

Both guns would fail to cycle properly approximately 1-2 times per box of shells. As I remember the guns would successfully eject the fired shell but fail to load the new shell. I spoke with Cole's before and after the guns were "repaired". The person I spoke with indicated that some of the...

    beretta 400xplor

I purchased two 400explor's a couple of years ago. Experienced the same problem as you with both guns. Sent both guns to Coles. Guns perform better but still fail to cycle from time to time. I listened to suggestions that the guns were not maintained properly and/or we were using cheap ammo...

    Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon 1 (20 Gauge)

I have both the Beretta 686 and the Browning 725 in 20 gauge. Both are very nice guns. I shoot both from time to time ...as do my kids and a large number of friends and relatives. I am partial to the Beretta because it seems to fit me better. However, the Browning is the overwhelming pick of...

    Need help buying new gun

I have accumulated a stable of Winchester, Beretta and Browning O/U's that I often use to outfit visiting family/friends for pheasant hunting. After trying them all, the gun that almost everyone prefers is the Citori 725 Field. It is all about what fits you .... but I would strongly encourage...

    Waterproof, breathable shell.

I have used the Orvis upland shell for a couple of years for dog training and hunting. 5"9", 160 lb ... usually wear a 41 or 42 suit jacket. With many jackets I find a medium a little snug and a large a bit too loose. With the Orvis shell, I find the medium is plenty roomy in warmer weather...

    Buying my First Training Collar.

I have trained labs for years with e-collars. Most of these have been pups and were introduced to the e-collar at an early age. However, I have had experience with older dogs as well. I see absolutely no reason that you could/should not consider using an e-collar. Training older dogs can be...

    Waterproof, breathable shell.

Orvis shell is spendy but it is a great shell. I use one for dog training and hunting. I tried a couple of less expensive shells and just was not satisfied.
