Which preserve are you headed out to? The San Berdoos are doing well with the Mountain Quail. The dogs and I have been rustling up a lot of them outside of Arrowhead. Great looking birds.

This is a trick question. Like your wife asking "does this make my butt look big." Better not to go there! Too many folks that are too passionate about their pups! We all love our pups, and for many different reasons. So long as we love them, then everything's all good.

Just hoping to get out! No solid plans, yet, as we're working on the family. So, that means I may be limited in trips. To ski or to hunt. That may be the question this year, as it's not looking like I can do extended getaways for both. Maybe a short weekend trip here or their for both...

Personally, I'd keep going for a while longer. Any time the pup whines or fusses, take 'em out. It won't be much longer, really. That said, with the Vizslas, they just may want to spend some extra time with you! ;) Best of luck. Crate training is the way to go.
