    20 Gauge Versa Max

I am interested in the reduced felt recoil. The recoil as I understand with the 12 ga versa max is like shooting a 20 ga? I'm having some tmj problems and was excited thinking the 20 ga recoil might be like a 28ga?? Thanks!

    20 Gauge Versa Max

I emailed Remington to see if there were plans to make a Versa Max in 20 gauge? Their reply " Yes, The first half of 2014." Has anyone heard or read anything about this? Thanks!

    Irish Setter Havoc Boots

I was wearing liner socks under my socks as well. I have found I don't use the liners with the alpacas its doesn't seem necessary. These alpacas are real thick but some how breath, but the thickness of the socks seems to make for more comfort minus the sweating. I was having trouble with...

    Irish Setter Havoc Boots

I've gone to an alpaca sock (extreme) that really is warm and comfortable. It seems to makes up for the non insulation for my boots. I have a local mom and pop shop that my wife was buying yarn at when she said " You might want a pair of their socks" so I got out of the truck and went in...

    Wings Works Hunting Vest

After reading all the good comments on this forum about the Wingworks vest I got one for this season. It was even better than what I had expected. It fits like a glove and the water bottles are just handy! My hunting buddies now are getting one. I usually use the Cableas upland strap vest...

LL Bean Technical Boots - made the plunge

My stiching on my LL Bean tech. boot ripped all the way from top to bottom (maybe 2 inches?) on my Kansas Hunt. I contacted LL Bean when I got home and they were real nice and asked if I wanted a refund--told them no I wasn't ready to give up on these boots yet due to how light and...

    Ice Warning

My little brit fell thru on thin ice in NC Ks after thanksgiving . I was glad I had read this thread before my hunt which allowed me to think about what to do in case this ever happened and not panic. The ice was so thin it kept breaking allowing him go get to shore without my help. But my plan...
