    Ford Eco Boost

To each his own. The technology is better in pickups today with trailer sway control and advanced trailer breaking. For a guy hauling around a bobcat for work all day you should have a 3/4 ton pick up or bigger. But for the average guy towing around boats and toys a ecoboost is a great option...

    Ford Eco Boost

I owned a 2005 f-150 with the Triton v8 and it would get 9-10 mpg pulling the fishhouse.. My fishhouse has been pulled by Chevrolet diesel and it was only able to get 11 mpg and a tuned gmc diesel on was able to get 12 mph. The ecoboost will tow 11300 the 5.0 v8 10000. They have the same...

    Ford Eco Boost

My Neighbor, Dad, friend and myself all have 2011 screw ecoboost. All of ours have been great no problems and we all have 25000-65000 miles on them. We all have got 20-21 mpg on long road trips in the heat of the summer. It loves the 100 degree days. In the winter the best I will get is around...

    Minnesota MS150

I just wanted to say thanks again for all the donations! I did a 40 mile ride 2 weeks ago, my ass was sore! A fishing trip got in the way last weekend so I missed out on training. I plan on two rides this weekend of 40-50 miles.

    Minnesota MS150

I just wanted to say thanks for all that have donated to the MS150 and helped to support my ride. It?s so cool that sportsmen who do not even know me have donated to this great cause and shared their stories with me about how the MS Society has helped their families and friends with MS. Here...

    Minnesota MS150

Hi fellow pheasant hunters! I am a fat pheasant hunter trying to ride a bike 150 miles to support the MS society. Man you get a lot of guys on this site bashing the Prairie Storms that have never used them. I am on my 3rd case of them and I love them. I shoot the 2 ¾ #5’s with a IC choke. I hunt at game farms before the season, Minnesota opener-close and South Dakota 2 or 3 trips a year. I have never...

Like fine wine, what's your favorite brand/load?

I know this is not a popular response but 2 ¾ #5 prairie storms are my go to shell. I have not had a problem with them crippling birds and they are only $15 a box shipped to my door from Reeds as long as you are a PF member.

why do some of you hunt?

Dogs, Dogs, Dogs, Good friends and did I mention Dogs.

    Breasting birds

According to the sdgfp you are not legal it says attached I also called and asked last year. I think the reason is if someone was freezing old rooster leg's to transport hens breasts. You would have to be a idiot to do this but I bet it has been done.

Rooster from a hen-how do you know?

The best way is to look for the ring on the neck. After that I look for color and long tails “the long tails can get you in trouble some hens have long tails”. If you are really lucky they will cackle when they get up.

    New to UPH from Minnesota

Welcome, Minnesota hunts do not compare to SD or ND but we have birds and if you get on good land with good dogs limits are possible. I was in Sd last week in the Huron area and it was bad. The birds are way down and the lack of hens has me worried.

Reports from opening day in SD?

As long as what you are doing is legal why should someone else care? I will be posting a report when we get back! I can't wait!!!
