Always seem to find a few errors. Fyi...I just downloaded all this years maps, and the Avenza app now only lets you upload 3 maps at a time. :( I guess i only use a couple at a time, so i guess if i need more, I'll have to switch back and forth.

One of the highlights, or lowlights, depending on how you think about it. ...was seeing a quick glimpse of a Lesser Prairie Chicken! ...one of only 62 that are believed to be left in Colorado!

Traveled the southeastern corner extensively this past week. Even though there is MUCH more green and overall cover than I have seen in 5 years, VERY few birds were found at all. Did see a few though, and that alone is far more than I had encountered in many a year!

Made a quick weekend trek to the middle of no where in the attempt to bag a Greater Sage Grouse, but after many a mile on the boot leather we saw nare a bird! :( Though it was still a glorious trip when you can spend time in the open prairie with a good friend and your two best buddies being...

Uh oh! ...my deer hunting honey hole is now ONLY in the severe drought category! ...first time in years! What just might be great as well, this can be a honey hole for Eurasian dove in the wet years! Might have to go for it sometime soon!
