Thanks for the comments on the 'very successful' pic. It was actually private ground. The $50 permits allowed access all season (which is only 15 days long in Utah). I think the three of us managed to get 4 birds over two days of hunting.

I'm a pheasant hunting lover from Utah. Unfortunately, a good day afield here means seeing a bird or two a day. I guess I'm a little misplaced. I'm planning a trip to Pheasant Heaven (SD) this fall with my two sons to hopefully show them a what a "good time" is all about.
