Seeking a NON compact Pointing Lab female Pup .Yellow.

I have a 2 year old red male that weighs in at 85lb and he is not carrying any extra weight. I bought him from Turkey Creek labs located in SW MN. I am real happy with both his confirmation and performance.

    Winchester ammo

I have had very good success with the SP. It is now my shell of choice when after wild birds. I think the performance for the price is good. Just make sure you don't shoot anything under 20 yards. Not much left of the bird.

    Dog Trailer

I will second the dust concern. I used a trailer for the first time this year and had problems keeping fresh air to the dogs. The trailer had two fans but I still got more dust inside than I was comfortable with. I plan to install an air filter over the vents to stop some of the dust for next...

    Risky Raider Blood Lines

Thanks for providing your insight. Everything I have been hearing/seeing regarding this bloodline has been fairly positive. The more I hear the more convinced I am that this is the bloodline I want to go with for my next pup. Good luck and happy hunting in the upcoming season.

    Pheasant Sharptail combo

I will be spending a couple of days in a pheasant/sharptail area in SD this fall before moving to our normal area for pheasants only . For pheasants I shoot an O/U with 5's. It was recommended that I should switch to a semiauto for the combo as the sharpies tend to flush in coveys in late...

    Risky Raider Blood Lines

Thanks for the response. Depending on how the fall season goes I may or may not need to have a pup ready for the fall of 2011. I really want to hunt behind a pointing lab before I make up my mind if that is the direction I want to go. Keep me in mind when if you breed your dog next year and...

    Another Michigan bird hunter joins

Hi Captain, We hunt on Public land so there are a lot of factors that enter in. The first part of the season the local woodies makes for good hunting. After they move out it is a waiting game for the flight birds. Some days are good and others provide plenty of time to wonder where the birds...
