your out hunting, and your walking, and all of the sudden! your heart starts pounding and your adrenaline is rushing, that moment, whatever gave you that moment. what is your story? It was the beginning of my hunt that day. driving along i saw some, what looked like to me good hunting area...

I think that's what I will do :) don't have any buddy's to go hunting with but hey, I have hunted and had some fun with a little bit of luck by myself.

i don't think i have hunted the ditches enough then, ill take your advice and walk along some fine looking ditches and see if i cant get me a bird or two. btw i never have hunted a rr track yet but most of the time i see one i can just look at it and know there is bird along that

grandpa was pretty old, id say 60+. and yeah I bet it would have been pretty tough on him walking through fields. but I don't have any friends that like to hunt lol, I am from the city, and nobody cares for it really. I am literally the only one that takes hunting serious here..

grandpa always took me to go hunting, but it was always Ditch Hunting.. I like ditch hunting, but I would rather be out there in the brushy field with some buddy's and picking off the rooster. I also seem to have better luck catching rooster in the fields anyways

nice pics there Nate. I love the dog just posing in the picture very nice lol. looks like you have better luck finding pheasants that I do. I live in Des Moines Iowa, and love pheasant. if you have any ideas of where I could find some decent spots I would very much like that

I don't live far from grimes ether. live in Des Moines, so if you guys know of any good pheasant spots let me know

iowa hunting this year was pretty good for me, a lot of running around looking for rabbit and squirrel. yet! I saw a few pheasant but couldn't reach them without spooking them. don't know very many spots but I would like to go with someone that does so we can team on some birds :)
