michigan grouse They told me that they peaked in 2011,but there drumming counts were the same as 2012 for this last spring.I think that is why they told me to expect the same as last year.They said most bird hunter did very well last year.

Sharptail hunting in the Sandhills Does anyone know how to find public places to hunt in the Nebraska Sandhills.Are there certain maps to obtain and if there arewhere can one obtain them.

I am interested in going to the Sandhills of Nebraska on a sharptail hunt possible this fall.Does anyone know where to get maps or places to hunt for the Sandhills of Nebraska that are open to the public.

I have noticed they like to be on the less windy side of a hill also.
