Not totally sure. I have had the kdwp site pulled up and been looking at several like Cedar Bluff and Webster and most of the Region 1 public areas.

You seem to be the dick. Did you read what I asked? Where did I ask for specifics? I asked if a certain LARGE public WIHA was far enough West or not. That is not asking too much. And the only info you have provided on here was that others gave me info. Thanks for adding to the experience.

Have any advice on Public Land? I understand to keep going Northwest..., but finding decent public land is not easy.

So do you think that Cedar Bluff Wildlife Area near Ellis would be good? Or should I still try to go farther West?

I will be leaving from Kansas City in the next couple weekends and going into Kansas for my first pheasant hunt in the state. I will only be able to use WIHAs, so can anyone point me to some good public land along the interstate or not too far off? Can go and probably stay one night there...
