    Late season (once it hits below 20) I love my Under Armor Skysweeper under a Scheels speed loader vest. Blocks the wind and is very warm for how thin it is. I tried using it above 20 and I ended up sweating my A$$ off.

    Ditto on the plots guide and do some scouting. You will find plenty of opportunities in the area. You probably won't shoot your limit in an hour (unless you find a honeyhole) but you and the dog will have tons of fun!!! Wouldn't hurt to check out to the ND retriever club either. http://ndrc.org/

    Only shotguns are legal for small game/waterfowl, no smaller than .410 and no larger than 10ga that I'm aware of.

    Where are you going hunting? It's not legal to shoot pheasants with a .22 in ND or anywhere I know of.
