Those surgerys take alot out of a dog. I watched a surgery were a dog ate the bottom cuff of a pair of jeans. Dr.'s ended up removing a large portion of the dogs intestine. It might take awhile before he feels up to eating. Good luck and wishing you both a speedy recovery.

just call a breeder they know about the dogs the best. I talked to Tom McDonald from Lincoln NE and he had tons of info. You can go to the breed's club website and find breeders there or just type Small Munsterlander into a search engine.
