This is Kooper getting ready for his first hunt. He pointed two that we never would have found if it wasn't for him. We got 4 total this weekend. Not bad for a central Illinois opening day.

Got him from Mabe Kennels in Odell, Illinois. I live a couple miles from them. Yes, I considered an electric fence but I actually ended up building a large kennel out the back door of my house so he can't go anywhere unless I'm with him.

Remington 870. Express or wingmaster. I've owned three, and I have a lefty express right now that I really like. Can't go wrong with the 870, just feels more quality to me than the mossberg. Mossbergs are good guns though.

I've been looking at escape's, and I also came across a 2003 Jeep liberty, which I really like. I'm gonna test drive it tomorrow. Does anybody have an opinion on the liberty?

Thanks for the reply shadow. I really like the gas mileage of the escape and the fact that it's a ford. It looks like you built a custom dog box for the back. Do you fold down the back seats or is there room for the dog box plus passengers in the back?
