I ended up staying on the MO side, noticed my license from last year was still good. Ended up getting into a covey and the dog got about four others up.

I got into some Saturday with my pup, saw about 10-12 total. Walked away with one, mostly my fault.

I know it's not the most ideal place to pheasant or quail hunt, but I'm really hoping to get out with my dog even if it means walking all day even for him to just smell a single quail or pheasant. Does anyone have recommendations or possibly want to tag along Saturday or Sunday? I'm in Kansas...
