In my part of SEK there are very few quail. ( Wilson county) I hunted most of the day Saturday and never seen a bird. And I was on all private ground. I don't think we will ever see the 80's and early 90's quail numbers again.

Pawnee Valley Lodge in Jetmore is a nice place to stay. The Derrick Inn, well lets just say Rusty Trigger hit the nail on the head, we had about the same experience.

We have been using Hercules Terra Trac T\G Max tires. 80% of the driving is on gravel roads and they are lasting longer then anything else we have tried. They are a little loud on the Highway..But snow and mud traction is good.
