Mine were older than that by a few years. Went through 3 pairs in 4 years. Kept them oiled religiously. Every pair blew out a seam. They also went up about 100 bucks. If the spot wasnt posted with signs as walk in or another form of SD public, i would guess you were on someones private land and are lucky you werent caught. Always make sure there are signs. Its possible someone stole the signs i guess, but i wouldnt go there

Id be buying that little fella boots and a coat or its really gonna struggle. Likely will have some hard drifts soon though, so walking on top shouldnt be an issue
